Protea Gardens was founded to provide an excellent service for our existing and new customer base. We strive for complete customer satisfaction in all aspects of our garden services business, whether landscaping, design or maintenance, hoping to exceed your expectations at every stage.
We work together with you to create your dream garden, be it a small garden tidy-up or a whole new garden design. Protea Gardens is easy to deal with, positive about perfection and very hard working.
We want you to be overjoyed with your outdoor space. That is why a meticulous work ethic and excellent workmanship is always part of our service. Our success is based on making it easy for you so that you can get on with your day-to-day activities – just leave the rest to us.
Protea Gardens is owned and run by Nathan Gamba, a North London (Bowes Park to be exact) resident originally from Cape Town, South Africa. Nathan has worked in horticulture since he was a teenager with his own lawn-mowing round, and furthered his knowledge by studying at Capel Manor College, a leading college for those interested in plants, animals, flowers, trees and the environment. He has a passion for nature that comes across in his enthusiasm and the results he achieves with even the smallest garden space.
About the Protea
Protea Gardens is named after the Protea flower – a South African national emblem that represents change and hope. The Protea is named after the Greek god Proteus, who could change his form at will, and this is very much the focus of Protea Gardens; changing form and developing function in a unique and personal space.
